I began my Personal Chef business is 2000and am a member of the American Personal Chef Association. It was time to turn my love of cooking for friends and family into my new career. At that time I lived and worked in the Allentown, PA area until moving to just south of Dover, DE in 2006.

I have been cooking ‘forever’-taking notes from my mother and grandmother, both great home cooks, and continue to learn new things every day. I have always collected cookbooks and kept my eyes open to new ideas from magazines, newspapers, and food shows on tv. The Internet is also a great international resource. My personal chef service is directed at listening to you and your family in order to discern how my service will best meet your meal needs.

I have worked with working single professionals, empty-nesters, families with young children and teenagers, and special needs clients (including weight loss, illness).

I received a Certificate in Horticulture Therapy from the Denver Botanic Garden in 1999.Since 1998 I have worked in gardens and gardening programming with urban youth, incarcerated adolescents, and Alzheimer clients. My internship hours were done at the Weaversville Intensive Treatment Unit, Northampton, PA and the Homewood Health Centre, Guelph, Canada. I currently can design programming under the recreational therapy needs of a facility, or one-on-one or small group sessions.

It is my privilege to work with you and your family.
